A
seminar was held in city town hall for ‘Save
Water Campaign’. It was attended by all the citizens, men, women, and
children. The speaker Dr. V.N. Hingu well-came all citizens and informed about
condition water nowadays and about the lecture problems. He stressed about how
to save water? And what to do to save water?
He told the people about the necessity of
water in our day to day life. Water is required at every step of human life. It
is impossible to imagine life without water.
He also draw the attention that how waste people water carelessly. He
informed to people the level of water has gone-down and in future we will have
to face. The shortage of water and for that all should be awaked.

Zala, a girl lady advised women
to not waste water washing clothes and utensils. The tap should not be on. If
necessary wash clothes everyday but there are lots of clothes which do not
require daily washing, Stop such kind of daily washing. She suggested to plan
how much water do you require. In scarcity economic use would serve the
purpose.
The
another speaker Mr. Y.B. Pandya suggested
to make a committee and to make the teams of volunteers, he gave the slogan ‘Water is Life’ and requested the
citizen to move in the streets and the city and to inform and to awake the
people for water. He has also insisted over the construction of ‘Check-Dams’ by
public participations because Millions of towns, Thousands of people have been
benefited because of these dams. Even
industries have been benefited
After
that a new committee formed this unit would go to the schools, colleges and to
the people and talk to them, make debate with them with the helped of pictures
slogan were having on roads and on the public places. Exhibitions were arranged
in all areas and in schools and colleges. They also decided to make giant
exhibition for the people on ‘Save Water’. All were parted with taking oath
that they all work together and made his this campaign grand success.
