Sumitra feels that something effective should be done to remove this evil. We should raise the public opinion against it. Girls should take active part in this movement. In spite of their biological limitations, they can bring out their potential with the helps of courage and self-discipline. There is nothing which they can not achieve. Girls should reject boys who demand dowry. Sumitra is a model for others. She fearlessly takes an action with a purpose to enlighten other.

Then Sumitra leaves her house, goes to Vasudha for help and shelter. But Vasudha can not help her without Vyomesh’s permission. So she leaves Vasudha and goes to Animesh a pleasant young man. Then she comes to know that he is married and was deceiving her with soft world. She is shocked with surprise and decided to flight against injustice done to women.

Sumitra also learns that if a woman becomes a widow, her status goes down in the family.. The life of a widow is pitiable.
