Draft a script for media on The Blood Donation Camp



The Blood Donation Camp
          A blood donation camp was organized at D.P. Desai College on July 4’2005. The principal invited the well-down doctors from the city to deliver speeches on blood donation. The guardians were also invited.  About 100 students took part in the Programme.
          Early in the morning, the blood donors were addressed by the civil surgeon. He congratulated the students for coming forward to help patients by donating blood. He appreciated the spirit that the students had shown. He persuaded the students that donation of blood is the best of all. They also said that somebody’s life can be saved with that. Besides, no harm is done to the body. Any healthy person can donate 2500 ml. blood once in three months.
          After the speech, the blood-donation Programme started. Seven doctors were ready with their equipments. The collected the blood efficiently in the bottles. These bottles were sent to the blood-bank to be preserved. Each donor was given a card that would enable him to get blood free of the charge in case of emergency. The certificates, in the name the governor were issued to all donors. In the end of programme, the supervisor expressed his gratitude to the students, the guardians and the teachers.
